看了你的問題，我覺得有幾點需要弄明白的：

1）你的問題是對'cross the bridge'中的'cross'是否弄明白了（包括前面許多朋友）。'cross'是動詞，它的意思是‘橫過’，從某一個橫向的方向越過，形成交叉。如果不明白，再看看它的名詞解釋：‘十字， 交叉， 十字架， 十字形物’就應當明白了。‘十’中的橫向是河，你從縱向的越過。那麼，你是過不了河的，只有橋才能越過河，對嗎？如果，說成'i cross the bridge.'，形成了你與橋交叉，你覺得這句話邏輯通嗎？

2）問題比較嚴重的是：'over the bridge'中的'over'是介詞（只能作介詞），意思是在某物或某個區域的上方。要用'over the bridge'，前面必須要考慮的動詞的動作表示出從上方越過，例如：fly。前面有位朋友用了'go over the bridge'，錯了。只能用這位朋友自己的句子'go across the bridge'纔對。
